Application Specialist

Infinite Leap has an opportunity for a talented Application Specialist to fill a remote, full-time position within our Professional Services Division. The position is multidisciplinary in nature and will work side by side with our clients, vendors, and service delivery teams.   •  Configuration of RTLS software applications following our best practice methodology. This includes location hierarchy, uniform naming conventions, asset management, environmental monitoring, patient flow, and other real-time uses cases that our Professional Services division deploys. Coordinate, perform and ensure quality software mapping
  • Assist Central Support with application support when requested assist in software application project implementations in the areas of asset management, environmental monitoring, and patient flow
  • Align software configurations to drive the greatest value for the client
  • Coordinate integration planning and testing with enterprise systems within Infinite Leap and with the client
  • Participate in remote and onsite meetings to provide guidance, support, and technical resources to clients and Professional Services colleagues
  • Participate in software go-live planning, preparation, and user training for projects, as well as assist in post-go-live support activities
  • Assist in providing user support during work hours as well as on-call after hours
  • Complete expenses and timesheets in a timely manner
  • Other activities as deemed required for the role which may evolve over time
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Science is preferred (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
  • 3+ years of software configuration experience
  • 3+ years of customer service experience
  • 2+ years of application server experience
  • Availability for some evening and weekend work to meet deadlines should be expected on occasion
  • Availability for travel estimated at approximately 10%
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Excel (google sheets) and web-based applications
  • Employment is subject to initial and periodic background checks
  • Ability to quickly identify and locate information across multiple sources
  • Comply with required immunizations, health testing, and other requirements of clients
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Comfortable navigating all areas of a hospital system including patient rooms
  • Advanced problem-solving skills coupled with a commitment to extraordinary customer service
  • Passion for lifelong learning in both personal and professional development
  • Experience working in a healthcare enterprise system preferred
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Two or more years implementing and supporting enterprise visibility and real-time locating systems (RTLS) in a healthcare environment preferred
  • Experience with software troubleshooting preferred
