Having satisfied customers is not Toby’s goal. No, to him it’s much more than that and the bar is a lot higher. Toby’s heart is in customer service and earning what Ken Blanchard calls in his book, “Raving Fans.” Customers may expect mediocre service and still leave satisfied. But customers always remember those that made their experience special and memorable. True partnership and excellent customer service is Toby’s goal.
Toby is the executive leader in charge of our services division. He comes with more than 20 years of experience in information technology, with 15 of those in healthcare IT. Toby has lead systems support teams in many clinical ancillary specialty areas including, pharmacy, radiology, perioperative enterprise and radiation oncology – most recently at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center. In addition to these areas, Toby lead the real-time visibility program there, which extended its reach all over the vast institution. Toby brings with him experience in clinical information systems and clinical operations resulting in a great understanding of the challenges our customers face each and every day.
Toby has achieved Fellowship status with the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and holds a CPHIMS certification. He is RFID Associate certified and spent many years as a Project Management Professional (PMP), certified by the PMI. In addition to these, Toby holds a bachelor’s degree in business finance, and a master’s in healthcare administration, both from the University of Houston – Clear Lake. Toby also serves as a board member of the local Houston HIMSS chapter and is highly involved in chapter events and networking.
